After breakfast, set out on a guided exploration of Delhi. Your journey begins with a visit to Chandni Chowk, a bustling market built by Shah Jahan and designed by his daughter Jahanara. This 300‑year‑old hub, surrounded by Jama Masjid, is a maze of narrow lanes, historic homes, and vibrant trading streets.
Next, enjoy a cycle rickshaw ride through the charming alleyways of Old Delhi. Stop at a Sikh temple and drive past Jama Masjid to soak in the city’s local flavour. Passing by the Red Fort, you’ll continue to Rashtrapati Bhavan, the official residence of India’s President, admired for its grand architectural style.
Your tour then takes you to Connaught Place, Delhi’s iconic circular marketplace, nearly 90 years old. With its Georgian‑style architecture, CP is home to global brands, renowned restaurants, lively bars, and cinemas.
Proceed to Raj Ghat, the serene memorial of Mahatma Gandhi, located along the Yamuna River, offering a reflective glimpse into the life of the “Father of the Nation.”
Later, visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Humayun’s Tomb, the first garden tomb of the subcontinent, built by Humayun’s wife Hamida Banu Begum. Its unique design inspired later Mughal architecture, including the Taj Mahal.
